Part four of “The Jesus Project”; a virtual exhibition of Thirteen distinctive, different or interesting portrayals of Jesus.
This beautiful wooden sculpture was a gift from a German artist to the citizens of Prague, to apologize for the behavior of German soldiers during the occupation of this wonderful city. It is kept in Prague castle’s chapel.
As I was looking at this marvelous work, I was imagining what the conversation might have been: “Hey listen…we killed 130,000 people… you got the statue…call it even?!”
